Simona Bianchi

Simona Bianchi, Ph.D. P.E. is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Lecturer at the ReStruct Group in the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft. Her research focuses on risk assessment, resilience design, and earthquake-proof and sustainable technologies. She has been awarded several prestigious grants (EU-funded Marie Curie Fellowship, NWO Veni grant), to advance her work on climate and disaster resilience. She is the Technical Lead for the Horizon Europe MULTICARE project, which aims to develop low-carbon resilient technologies for buildings. Throughout her career, Simona has actively participated in and coordinated numerous international research projects, fostering collaborations with public and private institutions worldwide. These efforts have contributed to her extensive expertise in experimental testing.
