Ioannis Dachis is working on modelling of transformable timber structures in the Restruct Group with an Erasmus+ placement. He holds a master degree in Architectural Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, a MSc degree in “Advanced Materials” with major “Construction Materials & Structures – Composite Materials” from the department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Ioannina, Greece and is currently a PhD candidate at the same University. His research is focused in the design and analysis of mechanical metamaterial.
