Menandros holds an MSc in Building Technology from TU Delft and a Master’s degree in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). At TU Delft, he has worked as a student assistant and researcher within the ReStruct group, where he deepened his expertise in glass, glass casting, and glass recycling.
As a PhD candidate with the Structural Design & Mechanics Group, Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, at TU Delft, he is now continuing this path by focusing on the realization of large and complex cast glass structures. His research aims to push the boundaries of what cast glass can achieve in architecture by addressing challenges of production, quality control, strength, and safety; enabling pioneering projects that combine structural innovation with unique architectural expression.
